Question : Problem: Missing Free Space on Laptop

Hi, just a quick but very annoying question if someone could help me please!

I have a Lenovo laptop that has a 120GB HDD and 5GB of that is a recovery partition.  The problem I am having is that the laptop says that 91.5GB is in use but if I select all files and then properties it only shows 31GB is being used.  HDD space programs such as Tree Size also only see 31GB in use also.

I have 60GB missing somewhere and I have no idea where it has gone, System restore is off and so is the Lenovo backup utility that was shipped with the laptop.

Any ideas???

Hi, thanks all for the help.  I managed to fix it myself in the end, it was the R&R program ont he Lenovo laptop that comes with it! it had made 60GB of backups!!

I removed the application then was able to delete the folder with all the backups in.
