Question : Problem: Can we scan into a terminal session from host PC?

We have a user who cannot scan from her Epson Perfection Scanner 1670r on her pc into her Eclipse software (a chiropractic practice management software) running on her Terminal session. The Eclipse software will see the scanner when the user is local and not in a terminal session but not when it is running in the terminal session. I put the Epson software on the server but the scanner still does not appear to the Eclipse software.  It is only a scanner, not a printer and scanner. Any dieas?  I'm also open to suggesting another scanner if that was the only way to make it work.  Thanks!

Answer : Problem: Can we scan into a terminal session from host PC?

How is the scanned hooked up to the user's PC?

Even though the article below relates to printers, this also affects scanner devices...

Printers That Use Ports That Do Not Begin With COM, LPT, or USB Are Not Redirected in a Remote Desktop or Terminal Services Session
