Question : Problem: Printing On a Terminal Server
We have a terminal server set up for our remote users. Our server is running Windows 2000 Advanced Server, at this particular location one of the computers is running Windows XP...when that user connects to the terminal server it takes her shared printer over and she is able to print without issue. The other user in running Windows Vista and he is able to print from his local machine but it will not take the one locally shared printer to the terminal server. I have done some other research on this and i have followed some of the advice given on this topic. I would like to know what you all could suggest. I have reinstalled the printer on the local Terminal server i have updated the drivers and i have edited group policy definitions based on what the web said....i am still at loss. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Phillips
