Question : Problem: Can't logon to VPN

I have a user who can't establish a VPN connectin to the office network.  The remote access server is running Windows 2003 remote access.

Here is what the user had to say:
"Im having trouble logging on using my laptop. It has been set up for the company VPN, but when I try to log on it keeps rejecting my password. This does not happen with my home desktop, so the problem is with my laptop only."

Answer : Problem: Can't logon to VPN

As everything appears to be a MS based solution, I would have to wonder if cached credentials aren't at fault.

Have the user qualify his logon as \username and then password.
