Question : Problem: Can't logon to VPN

I have a user who can't establish a VPN connectin to the office network. The remote access server is running Windows 2003 remote access.
Here is what the user had to say: "Im having trouble logging on using my laptop. It has been set up for the company VPN, but when I try to log on it keeps rejecting my password. This does not happen with my home desktop, so the problem is with my laptop only."
Any ideas? Thank.

As everything appears to be a MS based solution, I would have to wonder if cached credentials aren't at fault.
Have the user qualify his logon as \username and then password.
