Question : Problem: PC will not reboot after attempting Hard drive cloning

Installed Ghost 2003 and attempted to ghost a PC with XP SP2. It wont return to windows and it wont run the operation. It just hangs. Where can I go to change the info that says to start the Computer with PC DOS? Is it the Boot.ini? If so, where can I find that file. Keep in mind I cant boot to the drive and have to install it as a secondary drive and then search it for boot.ini if that is the case.

Answer : Problem: PC will not reboot after attempting Hard drive cloning

Use one of the fdisk-like utilities on the UBCD to make your main partition active. Ghost tries to create a small partition to boot from and makes that active. You can also use those utilities to delete that mini ghost partition. Don't install ghost for cloning. Rather boot from a Ghost CD and clone directly from there, or rather use one of the better utilities like bootit-ng or g4u (that one is also on the UBCD).
