Question : Problem: Power Supply Issue?
I have a Dell XPS 400 that will only boot into Safe Mode.
The regular boot does not even make it into the splash screen.
I unplugged everything inside the box except the main power to the motherboard, I heard no beeps at all. The green LED is lit though....
I tried a different video card in a different slot....that didn't work either.
I cannot access the Repair option because if I boot from the OS CD, I get to the blue screen with the option to press "R" to repair...but the keyboard and mouse are USB and they will not work. The motherboard does not have the old sp2 plugs for the old style keyboard so that is not an option.
Any ideas?
