Why does my Dell Poweredge 2850 server not recognize the SCSI hard drives? If driver are need what are they and how can I obtain them?

You should be using the Dell Systems Build and Update Utility to do the install. This will identify your server model and install all the drivers for you. This should have came with your server but back then was called Installation and Server Management.
