Question : Problem: How to remove memory from a telephone
|
|
I'm not sure where to put this question, miscellaneous didn't seem quite like the right place but...
I want to recycle an AT&T speakerphone, just a normal home telephone, but want to clear the memory of names and phone numbers first. I can delete items from the interface, but is there any way to truly delete everything from memory?

A strong electro-magnetic field should do it. There used to be devices to create such fields for computer work. Most likely they can still be obtained. <-- erm? Do you want to kill the phone?
Anyway, http://www.at-t.com <-- resources there, or call the support line (its free) and ask them :)
