Question : Problem: IBM UltraStar Drive

I have an IBM Ultrastra SCSI Drive Model DDYS-T18350. When I install it on into the server the Raid controller only sees it as a 16.95 GB Drive. However I have the same model on the same controller in a different position showing 17.02 GB. Unfortunatly this is causing the Raid 1 array not to rebuild as it should.
Does anyone know if I can upgrade the flash on the drive to possible have the raid controller see more available disk space? Or for that matter any other ideas?

Perhaps you can try a low-level format on both drives from the controller, after backing up the data.
