Question : Problem: Can't load laptop NIC
Hi EE's
I have a Dell D600. Broadcom 57xx controller went missing. Went to Dell and via my Service Tag pulled down and installed all Broadcom stuff. Ran the Broadcom diag utils and nothing finds a controller. Is the controller dead or something? How do I tell?
Wireless works fine using the onboard wireless nic.
How can I diagnose and repair?
Thanks.
Answer : Problem: Can't load laptop NIC
If the bios has the Lan controller disabled then i think you just found the problem. Enable it and see if it comes back in Windows
