Question : Problem: How long should it take to make a partition with boot camp assistent?

I'm not used to MAC and currently i'm trying to install Vista Ultimate on a Macbook Air. I use the Boot Camp assistent and i split the disk with 35 GB for Mac OS X and 20 GB for Windows. The partitioning proces started but it have now been running for approx. 1½ hour??? Status message is "status: partitioning disk". My Q is "should it take so long?"

I have found the answer and It is 45min to 1 hour for part. and install of windows. So I have to abort this session :(
