Question : Problem: channel 1 no 80 conductor cable installed
I am running windows xp.
I updated mcafee security and the computer seemed bogged down but worked.
I shut the computer down, then started.
The screen begins to load then reads channel 1 no 80 conductor cable installed.
The computer continues loading as normal.
I can now see my icons. I can double click to make them work. Example, "My Documents" opens with no problem. The cursor doesn't work at the bottom of the screen though. I can't get at the start menu.
Windows pop up saying, "Anonymizer socket operation encountered a dead network". Also, "Anonymizer listening device dead socket".
Then, my computer continuosly reboots.
Answer : Problem: channel 1 no 80 conductor cable installed
Well, I don't know if any of this helped, but everything is fine now. All I did was restore my computer back to the last time it was fine and that did it. Thanks for your help dudes.
