Question : Problem: Howz the Intel 865 GBF Motherboard with Intel P-4 2.6cGHz HT 800 MHz processor

Hi,

I am planning to go for a pc that has the following configuration:

-Intel Motherboard 865 GBF ( 800 MHz FSB)
-Intel P-6 2.6cGHz HT (800 Mhz)
- Hynix 512 MB DDR 400 RAM
- Samsung Hard disk 40 GB 7200 RPM

Is it a good configuration to go for?
Will the RAM performance increase if I go for 2x256 MB DDR 400 RAM rather than one stick of 512 MB DDR400 RAM for above said configuration?

ya.  I prefer seagate....875's not available huh?  That's a bummer.  Been available for quite some time here in the states.  probably around 4 or 5 months.  Maybe more.
