Question : Problem: How to adjust LCD monitor geometry

I have just installed my new Samsung SyncMaster 172T flat panel LCD monitor. It works very well except that circles look a little stretched in the vertical direction. This monitor does not have H and V size adjustments like CRT monitors. Is there a way to adjust its geometry?

1280x1024 is a 5:4 aspect ratio.  If you want 1024 horizontal, you will need 819 vertical.  Most cards have 4:3 aspect ratio settings, so you may need a custom video setting, which PowerStrip will let you set.
