Question : Problem: Multiple Large monitors

I just got 2 30" monitors and I used to have 20" duals and I am finding that there's way too much room now for programs when I maximize, does anyone know of any software out there that I can make virtual dual monitors with a single one ?  then I could maximize two seperate programs on 1 monitor?

With Linux, it comes natively by opening up another window.
