Question : Problem: Clevo 5620p - 845MP chipset with Socket 478. Is Mobile CPU possible?

Hello, I have a clevo 5620p laptop with a 845MP chipset. The laptop selling point was it can use a desktop CPU (DeskNote). The laptop came with a Pentium 4 2.4GHZ cpu which did great except for the fact the thing gets extremely hot. The laptop cant be under any load or it will overheat and shutdown within minutes. I have put a 1.6 GHZ cpu in this laptop to try and keep heat down but it still overheats. I have used artic silver, that didnt really do much, made sure dust was out of the cpu done everything possible to try and underclock and other thigns to keep this thing kool. Nothing works.

So my main question now is, is it possible to put a mobile pentium 4 in this machine and if so which models. Even with the large heatsink this thing has it gets way to hot. I need less heat. Thanks so much in advance.

You could/should be able to downgrade to a desktop Celeron.
