Question : Problem: Installing two pci Modems with same model on the same pc , for Fax Server purpose .

Good Day Guys ,
I need Some help here , My Question is that i'm making a Fax Server and i have two lines which is being dedecated for Faxing purpose , So i Bought two New Modems with the same models , and installed them , and the system correctly installed them and red them , My Problem is that if the sysmtem comunicate with modem 1 can't comunicate with modem two and vice versa , i had check irq settings for both of them and they are diff. any way check the below info may if help :
For Modem 1 :
Conexant, V92 Soft56K Data Fax Voice Modem ,
Com 3
I/O Range 1000-100F IRQ 17
For Modem 2
Conexant, V92 Soft56K Data Fax Voice Modem #2
Com 4
I/O Range 1010-101F IRQ 18
I neeyou help urgently to let both of them work
i'm using a software for fax server but can read only one .

Another issue is the fact you're using software modems, when I worked for USR none of our software based/win modems would allow you to install more than one. The software that's required to be installed on the computer to help run the modem conflict with each other. You might want to look into getting 2 hardware based modems where all that is needed is the driver for the modem.
