Question : Problem: Terminal Services User Locale Query
Hello,
We have a terminal server setup with a number of users who connect to it and run a terminal services application. There are printers installed on this server that the users need to use. For some reason now and again some of the users get an issue where by everything they print is sent to the printer in USA Letter paper size and not UK A4 paper size. This knocks the printer offline as it is unable to process this job. Is there a way I can set all users on the terminal server to only ever print via UK A4 paper sizes?
Would I need to find a setting to force all users to use a UK Locale setting to solve this?
Thanks in advance
Martin
Answer : Problem: Terminal Services User Locale Query
Most likely this is being changed by a user (or an application the user uses). The best way to avoid it is to lock down the printer settings via security tab to make sure the users only have Print Access but not Manage Printer rights.
