Question : Problem: having trouble adding a device in backup exec

I have a SBS 2003 server and use backup exec.  I just installed a new 200/400 GB Ultrium external SCSI tape drive.  I loaded the drive and verified it in device manager.  I am trying to add it as a device in backup exec but am having trouble.  I ran the device configuration wizard but don't see an option to add it.  I also had backup exec only use it's drivers, but still I can't add it in backup exec.

any suggestions?

In the past with Ultrium 100/200 I found that the jumper settings I was using on the tape drive were incorrect for the type of SCSI cable I was using.

Is the device detected with windows backup?
