Question : Problem: iCal font size

I'm looking to increase the font size in Apple's iCal application. There are no preferences in iCal that I can see to change/increase the size of the fonts in the calendars themselves. Apple forums proved to be a bust. I'm thinking there may be a solution via the Terminal or via a conf file somewhere.

Any help would be appreciated.

An edit to my earlier post:

holding Ctrl and using the scroll wheel allows you to zoom in on any part of your desktop.  might be faster and easier than the monitor resolution adjustment.
