how to reset password for user on imac. and what is the default password for root for imac.

Answer : Problem: imac password

OR you can use the Mac OS X install disk to reset the password if you don't have any other passwords.

Reboot and hold the "C" key until the CD starts to boot up, then you can either select Reset Password from the Installer menu or if you have OS X 10.4 Tiger installed it's under the Utilities menu.
