Question : Problem: Exchange 2007 not working with new Exchange-Compatible firmware for original iPhone. -- Mail won't sync but calendar will.
We have an Exchange 2007 SP1 Server running for our employees. One of them has the original iPhone and just updated to the new firmware that makes it "Exchange-Compatible." After configuring the iPhone with the correct ActiveSync settings, he can sync his calendar and receive direct-push calendar events just fine. As for mail though, it pulls down his folder list, but says it can't sync the actual messages. I checked the iPhone, and the switches for calendar and mail are both on. I can't figure out if this is an Exchange issue or an iPhone issue. Any ideas?
Answer : Problem: Exchange 2007 not working with new Exchange-Compatible firmware for original iPhone. -- Mail won't sync but calendar will.
Figured out the problem. It was a simple case of "/" vs. "\" when the user was entering the settings. Odd how the calendar worked but the mail didn't.
