Question : Problem: iTunes installation hangs

I am trying to reinstall iTunes after a reinstall of my WindowsVista operating system. It worked fine previously. Now it appears to install but hangs at the the end. I have run Windows installer cleanup, deleted all in Program files, tried to install after disabling UAC and my AVG. Still the same result.


I would be grateful for any suggestions.

Thank you for your efforts but none of this helps.

I have restored a previous disk image and can now install iTunes.

I had assumed that under the iTunes category for Experts Exchnage somebody would have answereed but nevermind and thanks for trying.
