Question : Problem: Fans come on, no video, no beep

It's been some time since I last built my own machine. I just started in on a new one, and I'm having some problems. Here's my config:

Mobo: ECS G31T-M
Proc: Intel e8400
Mem: Corsair XMS2 PC6400
Vid: ATI X1800XT

I assembled the machine and it powered up as expected, but no video and no beeps. I (sequentially)tried switching the vid card, memory, cpu, psu and found identical behavior. I even switched the mobo out for an identical one (I bought 2). I have also tried clearing CMOS and pulling the battery. Always the same behavior.

Any ideas?

Did you connect the CPU auxiliary 12VDC power lead (a 4 pin or 8 pin plug)?
