Question : Problem: LCD monitor brighter on one side

I have a 19" LCD monitor that is a little over a year old. I works fine except one side of the monitor is brighter than the other. I went thru all of the settings on the monitor without anything making a difference.

Anyone have any idea what's going on here?? I don't have it sitting next to anything magnetic or beside the PC.

This lcd type doesn't bother of any magnetic field like those with catodic rays tube.

From when is it brighter on one side?

I might believe that it was hit or fallen down and its backlight moved of its place.
