Question : Problem: You do not have sufficiant privileges for accessing connection properties. Contact your Administrator.

Hello All,
I am trying to edit the network connection properties on one of my workstations that has two NIC cards installed. When I right click on either NIC and select properties I receive the message "You do not have sufficiant privileges for accessing connection properties. Contact your Administrator."
The workstation is joined to a domain in which the domain admins group is added to the local admin group upon joining the domain. I logged onto the workstation with a domain admin account and local admin account. I also even added the domain account to the local admin account as well and still got the same message.
We are managing the domain computers via group policy objects but we are not restricting access to the network connections properties. In fact,  it worked fine before I got a message in the advanced tab under Windows firewall saying that the network interfaces were corrupt and to fix the issue, click the restore defaults button at the bottom of that window, in which I did. Since then I have not been able to edit the NIC properties.

I need to resolve this issue fairly quick so any and all advice is welcome. Please let me know your thoughts. I am setting the points at 500 since I need a speedy resolution
Thanks in advance.
