Question : Problem: Web Interface in DMZ zone
|
|
I'm currently setting up Citrix Web Interface 4 in a DMZ zone and am running into some issues with the web interface discovery process. I have already setup PS4 in my private LAN and have successfully published a number of applications. When I run the Web Interface discovery process it fails to find the farm. I have opened ports 1494 and 80 between my LAN and DMZ.
As a test, I loaded Web manager on a machine inside my private LAN (same as PS4) and it worked there without any issues. The discovery process was immediately and managed to create a site where all my publish applications became available via the browser.
AM I missing something else along the way here?
All suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Louis-

Hi,
The second port is used by the ICA client to browse the network for ICA services, such as published applications, Citrix MetaFrame servers, and Citrix MetaFrame farms. This port is normally either UDP port 1604 or TCP port 80, depending on whether you set up the client for either TCP/IP or TCP/IP+HTTP communications respectively.
