Question : Problem: T1 Controller to Serial Interface, please help

Hello Everyone

On one end I have a Cisco Router 3700 Series with a T1 Controller (VWIC-2MFT-T1)

On the other end I have a Cisco 1721 with a WIC1-DSU-T1

Is it possible to configure these in a point to point T1 configuration? If so, how do i go about configuring it,

On the 3700, if you haven't already, you need to add a channel group under the controller config to create the serial interface.

Example:

controller T1 0/0
 framing esf
 clock source internal
 linecode b8zs
 channel-group 0 timeslots 1-24 speed 64
     
This will create interface Serial0/0:0 which you can then configure as you did the 1721.
