Question : Problem: Problem between WRT54G router and westell 6100 dsl modem

Hi, i am trying to set up a wireless system for a friend, i have done this about 5 different times with no problems, but this one i cannot figure out, the wireless router is a linksys WRT54G which i have connected to a westell 6100 DSL modem, the computer is a compaq presario running vista home premium, i have run all the software as directed but i cannot seem to get access to the internet no matter what i do, at one point the Linksys Easy Advisor said that it did not support my router even though is was on the list, the access point works and transmits, if i connect the modem directly to the computer the internet comes right back, please help !, Thank You

Answer : Problem: Problem between WRT54G router and westell 6100 dsl modem

Try connecting the computer to one of the wired ethernet ports on the router, to see if that works.  If it works when connected to wired port, then the problem is somewhere in the wireless settings.
