Hi, thank you in advance for your help:

How can I scan a document, then type on it, then print it with my typed changes? Do I need a special program for this? I have an HP 4215v printer, scanner, fax, copier that will allow me to scan my document, but  once it's scanned how do I type on it? Do I need to scan it into a special format

marylyn, i would go to start>programs>office>office help programs>and open office document imaging.
from there you open the scanned image with your text, and modify and print it
