Question : Problem: Keyboard stops working in Vista

I am running windows Vista and my Keyboard (USB) all of a sudden just stops working.  If i unplug the keyboard and plug it back in i get the keyboard again, then about 1 hour later (time varies) it stops working again.  It still receives power (lights are on), but just stops working.

I have replaced the port replicator, the keyboard and none of which have taken care of the issues.

My mouse was doing this at one point as well, but i replaced the mouse and it resolved itself.

ended up going back to windows xp where i have no problems at all.

USB for monitor was plugged into the bottom port on replicator.

Tried the keyboard plugged into laptop directly and had no issues.  Dell even replaced the motherboard.  Driver issues i would say.
