Question : Problem: cisco vpn and active directory
|
|
Hello configuration: managed VPN service through ISP, they cannot or will not add Active directory authentication to our cisco router.
So i must look for an alternative.
Issue: when the vpn (cisco vpn client) users log in, they have access to our exchange server via a LMhost file.
How can I have them authenticate with the Active directory,? Anything more should be added to the lmhost file or our WINS server? please specify?
It is a pain because they cannot search the network for something when they are logged in remotely
Thank you

create Login.bat file --------------------------------- start \\.your.domain\NETLOGON\
--------------------------------
Put this file to all the computers with VPN and a shortcut to it.
Or you can use \\.your.domain\NETLOGON\ string as a shortcut destination.
