Question : Problem: Dell Optiplex GX280 Memory

I would like to upgrade my old Dell Optiplex GX280 computers to 1GB of memory. Do I have to use 2- 512 MB DIMMs to accomplish this, or can I use 1 - 1GB DIMM?

Answer : Problem: Dell Optiplex GX280 Memory

You can use 1x1gb stick but 2x512mb will run in dual channel and have a performance edge over a single stick.
