Question : Problem: Emachine won't power up

I put a new PCI network card in my emachine and now it will not power up.  I have checked all of the connections. Installed a new power supply.  Same result.  The only thing that I have seen that comes on is one small light on the mother board when powered up.  Where should I check next?  I also need to know where the leads : the power switch, HDD led, and power led connect to on the mother board.

I have completed the repair install on an E-Machine hard drive with a totally different motherboard. A retail XP home version was used, and I put the E-machine XP product key in during the repair install.
It Worked, and validated through microsoft!!
So you will need a retail version of XP(borrow one perhaps) but use your product key from the XP Home sticker on the E-machine case.
