Question : Problem: Random blue-screens causing system lock-up, any help?

We have a PC that is blue-screening, with different STOP errors and mini-dumps each time, two of the STOP errors are as follows:

STOP: 0x0000004E (0x0000008F, 0x0005871E, 0x00000000)
STOP: 0x0000008E (0xC0000005, 0x8054B407, 0xA2999B3C, 0x00000000)

two of the MiniDumps can be found here:

we also noticed that at one point the system clock reset itself, but thus far since correcting it it hasn't reset again.

The product is a Dell Dimension 8300 with 2GB of RAM, running Windows XP Pro.

Can anyone give us an insight into what the problem could be here?

Answer : Problem: Random blue-screens causing system lock-up, any help?

Okay - there does seem to be a kind of "combination" error here.

Is there a bios update available for your motherboard?

If not - then it looks like a replacement.

How long did you test each slot for?
