Question : Problem: Can't connect Cingular 8525 to desktop with Active Sync.

I have a cingular 8525.  I have installed Active Sync 4.5 on my desktop.  

When I connect my 8525 to my disktop via a USB cable i get the lisght on the phone indicating that it is charging.  

I then open Active Sync and try to connect to the phone.  The wizard tells me that the USB connection is "available" but it does not find the phone.  What am i missing here?  I have uninstalled and reinstalled Active Sync twice.  Any other suggestions?

Answer : Problem: Can't connect Cingular 8525 to desktop with Active Sync.

Now im thinking bad hardware.

Either bad cable or BAd Udb pin (I saw another who had this problem)

Can you goto cingular and have them replace it?
