Question : Problem: Cannot view available wireless networks with pc connected to wireless router

Hi,

I cannot view available wireless networks with pc connected to wireless router.  My other XP pc, when connected using wireless connection, sees other wireless connections in the neighborhood.  So how can I be sure a neighbor's wireless connection is secured if I cannot see it?  Please advise.

Hi jstaron7,

Firstly, you'll need to click the manually connect to a wireless network option in the Setup a connection or network window.

Then:

You need to click the connect even if the network is not broadcasting option which you can find in the wireless network properties dialog box.
