Question : Problem: thinkvantage access connections lan 2100 3b powers itself off

I am using the IBM Thinkpad T41p, and recently its wireless network adapter, the thinkvantage access connections lan 2100 3b has beguin powering itself off from time to time, and I would always have to turn it back on manually. It seems like the event viewer always creates this log whenever it disconnects:

"The system detected that network adapter \DEVICE\TCPIP_{C7BA457A-A567-4AD6-B2E6-10DBDDD09F3A} was disconnected from the network, and the adapter's network configuration has been released. If the network adapter was not disconnected, this may indicate that it has malfunctioned. Please contact your vendor for updated drivers."
