Question : Problem: HP EX470 Power Supply replacement

I have an HP EX470 MediaSmart Home Server, Yesterday the Power Supply stopped functioning. Does Anyone know if its possible to find a Power supply to replace the stock one?

Stock is a 200 watt Hipro slim design.

Answer : Problem: HP EX470 Power Supply replacement

That's nice gary.
The PSU is model HP-U200EF3 and is 1U Form Factor, not SFX.

Newegg currently doesn't have any stock in reliable brands for that from factor.
I would look for one made by
Sparkle (SPI)
Enhance
Fortron Source (FSP)
Delta
For server class those are the cream of the crop.

Hipro (despite your current failed unit are usually decent)
I know Athena Power likes cheap capacitors.
IStarUSA I don't know but they are out of China and Taiwan, not the USA.

1U in 200-350 watt range should be easy to source.
Because of that range though make sure it is not an old P3 design unit.
You want an ATX 20 pin and the 2-pin x 2-pin "P4" connector.

FSP200-50PLA2 is recommended as a replacement in a number of places.
( Presumably because they have some for sale...)
