Question : Problem: Where/how to purchase internal VGA adapter cable?

Hi,

I have a Gateway E2610 small form factor computer with an ATI X1550 graphics card. The graphics card is small form factor and only has one video output, and I'm looking to hook up two monitors to it. On the graphics card, I can tell that there is a place to plug in an internal VGA adapter cable - like the grey cable in these pictures from NewEgg: http://tinyurl.com/5b9ea5

I'd like to buy that cable, and a small form factor bracket for it, but I can't seem to find them for sale anywhere. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Although the chipset supports dual displays, the specific card you have may not -- even though it has the additional connector, there's no guarantee it's active.   But even if it is, as you've discovered, finding the right bracket & cable is a real challenge.

It's likely a lot easier to simply add either another low profile video card (IF you have an available slot) or to add an external USB video adapter to support the 2nd monitor ... something like this:  http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815101001
