Question : Problem: what could be wrong? i have video problems on certain applications...

i haven't had this system very long but when i run the Nvidia control panel, vuze, and a few other apps there's lines across the screen and the images sometimes don't come up, or they're garbled, when i minimize and re-open usually they're fine then, i am not sure what the problem could be, this video is onboard, i am thinking about upgrading to a 1gb video card. any input wold be helpful Thanks

It sounds like a video driver problem.  The latest is not necessarily the best, so try a few different drivers.
