Question : Problem: Does nVIdia nforce 630i / 7100 support dual monitors?

I have a PC that came with a GeForce 7100 / NVidia nforce 630i and I can't seem to get dual monitors working.

There is a VGA port and a DVI connector on this board - I have two screens both identical and both known working with VGA connectors.  I have connected the second screen to the DVI port using a Belkin DVI to VGA adaptor.

I have updated the nVidia Driver Software using the nvidia online hardware recognition tool.  This installed an update but still I am unable to get the second screen functional.

That is the manual, not sure the exact page, was only 10-20 pages in on the section that talked about the internal and external connections.  On the DVI-D conneciton there is a note, and if you scroll down to the bottom of that page, it tells you that the DVI-D port does not support connecting a D-Sub via an adapter.
