When I open programs and even when I start Windows it seems to be very slow, lagging. Sounds are distorted as well. For example if I am starting up Windows the start up sound like skips.
If I have itunes playing and try to open any program it will lag until the program finishes opening.
The problem occurs with all programs, even the OS. I am running WinXP with all the updates, I am virus free and I have used Spybot S&D as well as Hijackthis and Windows Defender to make sure I had no spyware/adware. I ran Dell Diagnostic to see if it was a hardware problem and all tests passed.
Any help? PLEASE?!
