Question : Problem: How to find out if my computer can dual screen

Is there a way i can get to know if my computer has the right eqip / video card to run a dual screen setup.

e.g. when you go into display settings, / settings - I have 2 screens that i can change to and dual monitor, but
does that mean computers that can not do that will only show 1 screen on this page ?

I am looking for all information on how to tell if a computer can dual screen

Answer : Problem: How to find out if my computer can dual screen

Tigermatt did a great job answering the question.  Just to add something, I actually have 2 video cards, each with 2 video outputs allowing me up to 4 monitors.  I would say the best place to see if you have dual screen output is on the video card itself.   However, there are adapters you can buy that will turn a single output into a dual output.  something like this:
http://www.markertek.com/Product.asp?baseItem=DUALHEAD2GO-D&cat=CABLESCONN&subcat=VIDEOADAPT&prodClass=VGAADAPT&mfg=Matrox&search=0&off=

Also,  I have heard of (from a friend) some software that actually lets you share monitors with other computers on your network.  if I can think of the name of that software I will post it.
