Question : Problem: Blackberry Enterprise server

Hi ,

I am having a problem with Black berry enterprise server,

In the event logs , Blackberry router service  terminated unexpectedly,

I have to manually start the service every 2 hours,

can you please advise how to work around this issue

Hi, the best way to resolve these types of issues is to install the latest service pack for your BES version.  During the update process it deletes and unregisters all the BlackBerry services and replaces them with the latest version (including the router). So if you have BES 4.0 the latest updates are SP7 and MR3 and for BES 4.1 it's SP6 and MR4. Please make sure if you install any updates you are logged on using the Blackberry Service Account (e.g. BESadmin).
