Question : Problem: Compaq proliant server 1 Terabyte

Hi

I have a compaq proliant that is running windows 2003 server. I have 7 scsi drives that are in a raid 5 array, the drives are 146.8 gigs each and they are connected to a adaptec raid controller. The os is on a separate controller mirrored with 2 hard drives. 9 drives total.

My problem is i can get 681 gigs of space, and i need to get a terabyte of space. The drive layout is disk 0 (os) disk 1 (data 502 gigs) disk2 (181 gigs). The hard drives are all ultra 320 scsi drives.

Whats your RAID array configured to? RAID 5 will loose you 146.8 Gb RAID 10 (dual duplexed RAID 5 will loose you 293.6Gb)
