Question : Problem: Is there enough difference between an AMD 2.6Ghz vs an AMD 2.8Ghz?

Currently configuring a second computer and am trying to decide if it's worth spending an extra $50 to go to the 2.8Ghz from AMD:

AMD Athlon(TM) 64 X2 5000+ dual-core - 2.6GHz
AMD Athlon(TM) 64 X2 5600+ dual-core - 2.8GHz

I hardly ever game...most use will be with Dreamweaver, Visual Studio, and other standard functions.

For applications like that, you would notice a slight speed difference while developing.  I personally would spend the $50 for the increase.  If it were $100 or more I wouldn't.
