Question : Problem: Best rig for playing games

Hello Experts.
I would like to build a PC that would give me the best experience with today's games. I need to know what parts to get for it (brands) and best and cheapest places to get them. I would like to do this within $2000 budget
I looked into Dell and Alienware, but their parts are not brand and overpriced. Any suggestions?
