Question : Problem: AAM on SATA?

Hello.
    I have Maxtor MaxLine III SATA 300GB drive and external SATA controller - Promise SATA300 TX2plus.

I can't figure how to change the AAM settings on this drive, I've tried Hiren's boot cd where is AMSET from Maxtor - it detects drives on PATA only. And Hitachi Feature tool didn't start.

Any ideas?
