Question : Problem: NVIDEA Mirroring and Boot

Hello,
I hope this is an easy question. I am using mirroring with Nvidea. I had to rebuild my mirror because something happened to it. Now, when I boot my system it cannot find the disk. It is trying to boot on device 1 rather than device 0. When I manually choose which device to boot on I choose device 0 and it boots fine. How do I change the boot drive to the correct one? Is it as easy as going into the nvidea management console and making device 0 the boot drive?

I am paranoid and don't want to lose my data so that is why I am asking, first.

Thanks,
John

Answer : Problem: NVIDEA Mirroring and Boot

If device 0 is the drive that was replaced, and it is booting from device 1 with no problems, then it sounds like the raid controller just defaulted to device 1 as the only working drive during the rebuild. Changing it back to device 0 shouldn't cause any problem.
But if it is working, why bother?
